Everyone Needs a Seat at the Table

Cindy Gallop, Stacie Graham, Raphaella Martins, Joana Mendes

Everyone Needs a Seat at the Table was a super real talk about how there needs to be a call to action to include minority cultures in the advertising industry. Cindy Gallop gave a riveting speech about her letter she wrote called "Dear Simon" calling out Cannes Lions  CEO Simon Cook for their lack of black representation in Brazilian representatives on the board for awarding Cannes. It was a call out to the advertising industry for being racist.

These influential NFL figures had an awesome conversation about how the organization and its players have built a great relationship in recent years. The players interviewed reported that it was great to have the organization support them and know that they are there for them. They touched on controversial topics such as Colin Kaepernick, and explained their methods on how they can build their own personal brands separate from football. Tim Ellis explained how if they want to have a successful organization, the team and the players need to trust and support each other, even with differing opinions.
