DAY 2

Revving Up Creativity

Back to the Creative Future- the Fight for Great Talent

-Ryan Roslansky

Ryan Roslansky, CEO of LinkedIn uncovered the truth behind growth in companies. He explained how products must provide a promise people understand and can trust. He used the analogy of the term "horse power" and how it encouraged farmers to see machinery in a way they can understand.

He also provided interesting data such as:

-Gen Z is the most active job movers of all generations

-There is a shift in what matters in the ad industry- increase in tech skills and decrease in creative skills

-The ad industry lost 5.5% of employees while the tech industry gained 23%.

He ended with the powerful message that the ad industry should be working with the tech companies, and to use them to their advantage. Many lesser known tech companies are growing rapidly and need the assistance of agencies.
